Finding Community

Your community over the next four years shapes a lot of your college experience. At Kamp Love, we want to equip you with resources to find your people before you ever step foot on the Grove. There’s a million places for you to get plugged in at GCU, and we know it can seem overwhelming to know where and who to connect with. Below are some of the clubs, ministries, and churches on campus and across Phoenix that want to welcome you with open arms.

Register For The Spring Kamp!

When you arrive at Kamp Love, you will be met with opportunity to step outside of your comfort zone and say yes without knowing all the details. We’re all about seeing lives transformed for the gospel through camping, connection, community and Christ.

Games. Hammock Hangs. Fire Talks. Worship. Messages. New Friends. Memories Made. Lives Transformed.

See you soon!

Broder Magnuson
Kamp Director

Hello, I’m Broder Magnuson. I am in my fourth and final year at GCU. For the last three and a half years I have been led and served by amazing college students. For the last three and a half years I have been lifted up and carried to the feet of Jesus by amazing young men and women who are more devoted to his way than their own. For the last three and a half years I have seen a ministry blossom out of death, grief, and pain, into life, joy, and beautiful Christ-centered community. Whether in a group 100, 300, 600, or 1,000, year after year, Kamp after Kamp, I have seen life after life after life changed by Jesus, for the gospel, through the commitment to the gospel of students who themselves have known Jesus and his love.

I am sold out for Jesus and his love, I am a big fan of going into the woods and talking about him, and I am here to serve you.

Cade Reichmuth
Kamp Director

Hello! My name is Cade Reichmuth and I’m a junior from Louisville, KY. Since my freshman year, the Lord has used Kamp Love in my life to deepen intimacy with Him, build life-long friendships, equip me for ministry in college and long after, and teach me the beauty of living within a Christian community. I praise Jesus for the eternities changed through His Gospel and college students faithfully answering the call to make disciples who make disciples.

I have experienced immeasurably more than I could have ever expected or ask for in the faithfulness of Jesus through these past three years and in Kamp Love.

Isabelle Aff
Kamp Director

Hello! My name is Isabelle Aff and I’m from Vancouver, WA. I am a senior at GCU and will be continuing my post-grad journey in Phoenix. Three and a half years ago Jesus transformed my heart and life by covering me with his grace, love, and truth. I have come to know genuine peace through Him and have loved getting to see lives changed around me by the amazing men and women at GCU and Kamp Love.

This Kamp is a beautiful representation of Jesus making beauty from ashes while using his children to walk alongside each other with encouragement, purpose and patience. He is our only answer and I can’t wait to see people’s eternities continually changed through the Lord’s work at Kamp.
