Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you register for a Kamp Love event, contact us, submit a Start a Kamp inquiry, or otherwise interact with our services. This may include your name, email address, phone number, university, ticket and attendee details, responses to registration questions, and communications with us.

Our systems may also collect technical information needed to operate and secure the services, such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, authentication records, and application logs. When present in a link or browser request, we may collect referral and campaign-attribution information such as the referring page, landing page, UTM parameters, and advertising click identifiers.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Kamp Love does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy and provides us with transaction details such as payment status, amount, and limited payment-method information.

How we use information

• Process registrations, payments, refunds, and event check-in.
• Send tickets, receipts, event updates, and service messages.
• Respond to questions and Start a Kamp inquiries.
• Understand how people found our services and evaluate outreach campaigns.
• Plan, administer, secure, and improve Kamp Love events and services.
• Meet legal, accounting, safety, and fraud-prevention obligations.

How we share information

We share information only as needed with service providers that help us operate, including our ticketing platform, Stripe, hosting, email, and infrastructure providers. We may also share relevant registration information with authorized Kamp Love staff, university directors, event personnel, or venues when needed to administer an event.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the integrity of our services, or as part of an organizational transaction. Kamp Love does not sell personal information.

Cookies and local storage

Our websites and ticketing service may use cookies or similar browser storage for essential functions such as authentication, checkout continuity, preferences, fraud prevention, and security. If optional analytics or similar tools are enabled, we will use them in accordance with applicable notice and consent requirements.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including event administration, financial records, dispute resolution, safety, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information, or object to certain uses, subject to applicable law and records we must retain. You may opt out of non-transactional email using the instructions in the message. Event and account messages necessary to provide a requested service may still be sent.

Children

Our online ticketing and inquiry services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us.

Other services and changes

Our pages may link to third-party websites whose practices are governed by their own policies. We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
